US Long-Weekend Adventures Being Planned Now

The first trip being planned for 2016 is to Saint Petersburg, Florida. Future select destination trips are continually being planned.

Saint Petersburg, Florida

Saint Petersburg, known as “The Burg” by locals, is a city with year-round sunshine. Recognized by The New York Times as one of the “52 Places to Go in 2014,” you will find a vibrant sense of community, along with a mix of culinary surprises sitting between the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay. If you’re looking for a weekend getaway, Saint Petersburg has something to offer for everyone. We offer a long weekend getaway for you that enables you to savor everything this beautiful city has to offer.

Sample itinerary:

Day 1 – Arrive in Tampa, Florida

Arrive in Tampa, where you are met by a local guide and transferred to your quaint bed and breakfast in downtown Saint Petersburg – your home for the next three nights.

After checking in, the rest of the afternoon is yours for relaxing. Enjoy the many amenities your luxury B&B has to offer. We provide you with a map, suggested sites to see and ways to spend the afternoon – be as active or relaxed as you like!

That evening, join us for a welcome reception while taking in the beautiful downtown city views.  Afterwards enjoy dinner on your own at one of our recommended favorite local restaurants. After dinner, stroll along the bay and perhaps take in a local Flamingo show while sipping on delicious sangria.

Day 2 The Possibilities are Endless

Whether you are a history buff or culinary guru, Saint Petersburg has it all! We can customize your day to fit your interests and desires.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your B&B, venture out and discover some of the many top museums that Saint Petersburg has to offer.

Choose from:

1. The Museum of Fine Arts and/or see the famous glass sculptures of Dale Chihuly at his local museum. Enjoy lunch at a spot favored by locals.

2. For those who want to take a culinary approach, take a food walking tour while getting a sense of the culture and history of downtown Saint Petersburg or

3. Visit a local spice shop and enjoy a food and spice demonstration. Lunch to follow!

4. Take a two hour Segway tour through downtown; a fun and different way to take in the sites of the beautiful city. Experience lunch at a spot that attracts the foodies in St. Pete.

Later that evening enjoy dinner on your own (we provide recommendations covering a variety of cuisines) and spend the rest of the night as you choose. On Friday nights, we recommend visiting the original St. Pete lawn bowling and shuffle board courts.

Day 3 – Dali and the Market or a Day at the Beach/Golfing

After another delicious breakfast at your B&B hop on the local downtown trolley and head towards the Dali Museum for a private docent tour. The Dali holds the largest Salvador Dali collection in the country.

Afterwards we accompany you to the local farmer’s market to shop and enjoy a sampling of their delicious wares.

If Dali isn’t your cup of tea, after breakfast we can take you to the beach where the blue waters and sugar-like sand await your enjoyment. If you prefer to get your sun from the fairway, we will arrange and transport you to an award winning golf course.

Later that afternoon take a private charter boat for a farewell sunset cruise to bid adieu to a wonderful long weekend in this fabulous city.
